My name is Sophie Gonsoulin. I am a licensed clinical social worker from Houston, TX but relocated to the Dallas area after completing a major goal of hiking the Appalachian trail from Georgia to Maine. Since receiving my Master’s of Social Work in 2019, I have had the honor of working alongside individuals and families addressing anxiety, depression, relationship strain, emotional regulation, self-esteem, as well as, domestic and narcissistic abuse. I hold a clinical license to practice counseling independently in the state of Texas. I love supporting those who may feel anxious about seeking support for their mental health for the first time. 

I believe that a two of the biggest determining factors of effectiveness in counseling is the relationship you have with your therapist and the effort you put in.

I believe that you are the expert in your own life and will provide a safe environment for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. My goal is to support you without judgment so that you are seen, heard and valued.
